I have to admit I almost quit reading it. The writing confused me a bit. I was a little frustrated keeping up with change in person. The grammar and quotation marks were also off sometimes. Overall the story was great and the plot and layout of events were also great. So as long as you can overlook the the mistakes it really was worth it for the story.

Special Relationship eBook Alessandra Fox Reviews

Loved it. I enjoyed it. Being that I recently visited London I can picture the places as I read the story. Keep up the good work.

Regards
Josie
Was a pretty good book, was different reading it from a different POV , but still a good story line. Glad Nick and Alex finally found happiness, but still so much of the story could remain in the future.
This was a wonderful story about a woman's life of tragic loss and the finding of a wonderful love. You just want to keep on reading to find out what is going to happen because there is still a touch of mystery in the storyline. Enjoy the book, I did.
Upon reading Special Relationship I taught it was a brilliant love story.
The story is about a lady called Alex who has a secret about her past. She moved from New York to London where she opens a financial firm with her friend Kerry. She lands a huge contract with a gorgeous banker by the name of Nick Hensen. She meets up with her new client at the races where she meets his assistant Katherine. While she was there she became friends with Nick's friend Travis and Lord and Lady Ashton. When Nick seen Alex for the first time he was attracted to her. Nick is a bit of a playboy when it comes to his PA's. He said it to Katherine that he was falling for her. His friend Travis done a background check on her and came back to say that Alex wasn't her real name.

The day after the races she was getting mystery texts from an unknown source. Stating that she should stay away from Nick. Nick went on a business trip to New York with Katherine. As Katherine is married she is not happy in it and she embarks in a one night stand with Nick. As time went on Nick brought Alex away for a nice romantic weekend he told her of his feelings for her. When Alex found out about his encounter with Katherine she was shattered and broken hearted that he did something when he was away on business.

As weeks past they story of her past came back to her. She told Nick the story about how her young daughter and mother were killed in a house fire. And her ex-husband was to blame. And how the nightmares came back to haunt her. They found out who the mystery texter was. In time Alex forgave Nick for what happened and they worked on their relationship.
Well-written love story with unexpected twists and turns. Lovely setting in England, both in London and in the countryside, upper crust as well as working class, Brit and American...well blended into a believable story. Good read that was hard to put down. Definitely will read her work again. version did still have some problems with typos, but I was able to ignore them.
I enjoyed this book very much. Had to continue reading it through out the day, every chance I got. Very entertaining and uplifting.
The only part I didn't like was Nick 's short affair with Katherine. I felt that, even though he had nothing formal going with Alex, he should've not have betrayed her like that.
I also felt that the ex-husband should've been punished someway, somehow. And then to get paid to relinquish the daughter that he killed, simply outrageous.

Everything else was fine. Keep writing.
The story and situations were interesting and kept me wanting to read the story. The biggest issues I had were typos and misspellings. One of my biggest pet peeves are bad edits and this book was full of them. Don't know if it was just the edition or if the print version was the same but it definitely affected the story. Other than that, it would have gotten another star.
