I loved/still love the first book about Dash and Lilly. I love getting to see the characters again but also wonder if this book was necessary.

It took more than a little while for me to connect with the characters again. To be more specific, it was Lily I really had trouble connecting with this time. I know she's been sheltered a lot and what not but at times I was just thinking what/why would you do that. Her decision making skills are a bit shaky it seems and you kind of want to sit her down and say maybe act your age.

After awhile though the story finally clicked with me. The first book is still the best but the end of this one is worthwhile too. The catastrophes toward the end brought everything together nicely.

I loved the first Dash & Lilly book and this one did not disappoint! Great happy books!9

I thought this was the perfect sequel to Dash and Lily's Book of Dares. Plenty of Christmas feels and romantic hijinks with some hard life lessons thrown in for free.
I was very excited to read this book and get in the Christmas spirit, but it did not help at all. Lily spends most of the book as an unhappy mess, and she is simply a shadow of her former self. Miscommunication is one of my least favorite things to read, and this entire book rests on it.
I loved DASH & LILY's BOOK OF DARES so much that I read it every December. As with many sequels, this one sparkles just a tiny bit less. Maybe it's because the love isn't knew and shiny this time around. This one feels a bit more like real life where love isn't always shiny. Still, I loved taking the journey with them as they rediscovered themselves and I relished being a world with Dash and Lily again.
Loved the original Dash and Lily book. Hated this--just a thrown-together story that was repetitive in places, and just all wrong for characters in others. None of the delight and whimsy that characterized the first. Wish I hadn't read and am endeavoring to forget ASAP.
I read the first book (Dash & Lily's Book of Dares) about a year or two ago. I absolutely loved it. Now, in the follow-up, the holiday season shenanigans continue! Be warned, the book has a bit of a slow start (though this is merely my opinion), so be patient and give it time. It was a really good sequel. I would love to see this book, and its predecessor, turned into a Hallmark Christmas movie. Recommended for those looking for a little Christmas cheer.
