So this is a new author for me. I actually read book 2 first as an ARC, His to Protect, and it was so good that I immediately turned around and purchased the first book in the Fireside series, His to Love. Story is about Tyson and Blue, Tyson is an undercover FBI agent and Blue is the daughter of a Detroit underworld gangster who has been called back to the family home in Detroit after spending 10 years exiled in Colorado with her Aunt because her mother is dying. Kicker with this one is that Tyson and Blue were high school sweethearts before her father sent her off to live in Colorado because Tysons dad was a Detroit Police officer. When the two meet again on a plane back to Detroit in Denver, Blue has no idea that Tyson has been placed undercover to bring her father down, but the two pick up where they left off ten years earlier. This was a really great story, full of the right amount mystery and suspense, along with the hot, sexy chemistry between Blue and Tyson. The Fireside ladies are a crack up, and these men take care of their women, love that! What I also like about this series is that they can be read as standalones, but each story gives a glimpse of the next story to be released. Some spelling errors that weren't caught before the release, but nothing big enough to change my rating. Can't wait for the third book to come out in November!Product details

Great book and a great author. I love all her books!
Great start to series great adventure great romance more language but it stopped being a job when he saw her photo
First I've read of this author, but it definitely won't be the last. I really, really enjoyed this book. I loved the main characters, the secondary characters, and the story line. I can wait to read more from this author, and more of this series. A stand alone book with a nice HEA.
This is so good! The storyline is amazing and interesting! The characters are lovable and interesting! Read two of the three in the series, not disappointed! Reading the third as soon as I'm done with this review!!!!! READ THE SERIES ITS WORTH IT
A great start to this series! At this point I'm glad I stare late do I can read them back to back.
I really liked everything about this book, the main characters, the writing and the plot. This wasn't overly dramatic but there were some parts that were emotional. I loved Tysons bossy but respectfulness. I can't wait to read the next one!
I just loved, loved Gabrielle and Tyson story. There's betrayal, deceit, fantastic love making scenes and a love so strong and powerful that nothing could destroy it. The characters were well developed and supported the story. The storyline has movement that flows from page to page . If you enjoy reading about strong and courageous men and women than this book is for you.
Tyson loved Blue for years, he believed they were meant to be forever,
he would do anything for her.
Blue loved Tyson with all her being, then her father found out, that he was the son
of a police officer, so he sent her away.
Tayson never knew what happened or why she was gone, all He knew was that he missed and loved her.
Now 10 years later she is back and Tyson must infiltrate her life, in order to bring her father down.
The mob is a hard life and Blue will come to understand how hard that can be. when you are put between a rock and a hard place.
characters were good, plot had me going, sometimes I was a bit lost but over all it was good read.
